1) Can you please explain to me what RefWorks is all about?
  • Refworks is an online bibliographic management tool
  • It basically works in conjunction with most of our research databases as a way to manage your citations when conducting research (i.e. writing research papers)
2) Is there a fee for using it?
  • If you are a student there is no fee to use RefWorks. All you have to do is create and account an become aquainted with the way it functions. It is a resource that the NYIT Libraries subscribe to.

*If you are looking for something more simplistic, i.e. you want to create a quick citation, you can also use KnightCite which is a free online citation service which you have access to regardless of whether you are a student.
