Q. How can I get books from other NYIT campuses? Can they be delivered?

Materials including books and media held by any of NYIT's libraries can be requested at the Circulation Desk of your local branch library. If they are Circulating items, and not Reserve or Reference, they are eligible for intra-campus loan. Delivery times will vary from 3-10 days.

Current NYIT students, faculty and staff, can also request to borrow items not currently in our collection through Inter-library Loan. Online requests can be made for both articles and/or books.

Another strategy is to search meta-catalog WorldCat and determine local libraries' holdings. Access to 3rd party libraries is possible through NYIT's partnership with Metro's Resources Sharing Program.
