Q. What is NYIT Innovation Labs?

The NYIT Library Innovation Labs enable students, staff, and faculty from diverse academic disciplines to explore specialized technology resources to collaborate, discover, and create. Located on NYIT’s Old Westbury and Manhattan campuses, the labs provide access to resources, knowledge, technologies, and digital information specialists. The labs offer an agile environment, with an ever-renewed set of technologies in the areas of 3D printing and design, virtual reality, programming and electronics, and multimedia production.

As hubs for curricular renovation and innovation, the labs support experimentation with new technologies for teaching and learning. Bringing together emerging technologies from education and the workplace, they serve an R&D function, providing fertile ground for interdisciplinary research and contributing to the value of a New York Tech education.
