Hello, I believe we spoke on the phone earlier.  We discussed how to access scholarly journals through Proquest. On the library home page, http://www.nyit.edu/library, you will see the "Quick Links" box on the right-hand side, click on "Databases A-Z" then scroll down to the link for "Proquest Central". click on that link (if you are off-campus there will be a prompt asking for your mymail username and password) once you click on that link it will bring you to the "Basic search" page for Proquest. You will see boxes to click on that will limit your search to "full text documents only" and "Scholarly journals, including peer-reviewed" make sure the check mark is indicated in those boxes in order to limit your search to full-text and scholarly or peer-reviewed articles.
